18 May, 2026 – Newsletter #1 – A Prayer for God’s Provision
John 16:23-24 (ESV)
In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Father God, You are Holy, You are Mighty, and You provide abundantly, in ways we could never imagine. Father, as Robyn and I open the gates of this Promise in faith, I pray that You provide exactly for what we need, not for what we want. God, we’ve wanted a child of our own for almost a decade, and You’ve chosen to withhold that from us. While we don’t know why You’ve chosen to do this, we trust that You have a work yet to be done in us because of it. Father, may Your Glory be seen through the actions of those who see our plight and answer with abundant grace and altruism. May Your Name be glorified, and Your Love be poured out through the Love of Your Children today. God, You are more than enough for any day, and all that our souls need. We pray in earnest today that You answer the desire of our hearts, and in a way that only You ever could. We aren’t asking for a miracle, God, but we do ask that we, through this process and trial, be drawn closer to the Miracle Worker. All things are possible through You, and we surrender this to you. May we ever keep Your name on our lips, and Your boundless provision as our sustenance for today… and in all things, may we seek You and Your Kingdom above all else. In Your Holy, Precious, and Powerful Name we pray,
Amen.
